Calculation
Aspect Ratio
Enter a width and height in pixels to see the simplified ratio, such as 16:9 or 4:3. Choose a common ratio to resize the other side, or scale both sides by a percentage. The matching sizes stay on whole pixels.
Quick start
- 1
Enter the width and height
The simplified ratio appears, such as 16:9 for 1920×1080.
- 2
Or choose a common ratio
The other side changes to match 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16, and the other presets.
- 3
Edit either side
With a ratio selected, changing the width updates the height, and changing the height updates the width.
- 4
Set a scale
50% keeps the same ratio and halves both sides. Sizes round to whole pixels.

Frequently asked questions
Why did the height change by one pixel?
The calculator rounds to the nearest whole pixel, so some ratios cannot land on both sides exactly.
