Using the directory

DevStack is a set of single-purpose tools you can open in the browser.

Each tool does one job: compress a photo, merge a PDF, format JSON, convert a unit, and the rest of the catalog. Guides on the Docs pages explain the options. The interface on the launch page is the product.

Tools are free to open. Availability, limits, and the catalog can change. A tool can be added, renamed, or removed without a separate notice beyond this site.

  • No account is required to run a tool.
  • Limits such as file size, page count, and capture height still apply.
  • A missing or failed result does not create a support contract.

02

Results are not a guarantee

A tool returns its best result for the input you gave it. That result can be imperfect.

A compressed image can look different. A merged Word or PowerPoint file is not a pixel-perfect copy of the original layout. A formatted query is text, not a database. A screenshot is one moment of a page, and pages that keep moving can still be mid-animation.

Check the output before you publish it, send it, or rely on it. DevStack does not promise that a conversion, a calculation, or a capture is fit for a particular legal, medical, or financial decision.

  • Review the file or text before you use it elsewhere.
  • Office files are not reproduced as an identical layout.
  • The tools are utilities, not professional advice.

03

What you may submit

You are responsible for every file, string, and URL you send.

Only submit material you are allowed to process. Do not upload someone else's private documents, passwords, private keys, or customer data. Do not point Website to Screenshot at a host you are not allowed to open.

Do not use a tool to break into a system, scan a network you do not control, or overwhelm the service. Private and local addresses are refused by the screenshot tool. That block is not permission to try other targets.

  • You need the right to process the file or text.
  • Attacks, intrusion, and unsolicited scans are out of bounds.
  • DevStack may refuse an input that breaks a tool limit.

04

The donation list

Adding a donation publishes the details you type.

The name, or Anonymous, the amount, the note, and the date appear on the public Donate page. Do not put a private message, a phone number, or another person's name in the note unless you mean for it to be public.

The page records that entry. It does not take a card payment, and a place on the list is not a receipt, a share of the studio, or a promise of a feature.

  • The list is public.
  • No card is charged on the page.
  • A listing is not a purchase or a contract for new tools.

05

These pages

The Privacy, Terms, and Cookies pages describe the site as it works today.

When a tool or a storage choice changes, these pages are updated. The date at the top of each page is the version you are reading. Continuing to use DevStack after that date means you are using the site described here.

  • Privacy explains data.
  • Cookies explains browser storage.
  • Questions about the studio go to Follow me, not to a support desk.
